The new software, which should hit around the same time as iOS 12 -- likely in September, alongside rumored redesigned Apple Watch "Series 4" models -- will be available as a free upgrade to the Apple Watch (2017), Apple Watch Series 2 (2016) and Apple Watch Series 1 (2017). Owners of the 2015 original Apple Watch are out of luck -- even if they paid $10,000 or more.

But there are some changes that could be really helpful for Apple Watch wearers.  These seem like the best.
