Facebook chief operating officer Sheryl Sandberg addressed the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Class of 2018 Friday and stressed the importance of using technology for human good.

Sandberg encouraged the graduating class, comprised of over 4,500 undergraduates and 6,900 graduate students, to use education and innovation as a means to foster democracy and equality. Sandberg also addressed Facebook's recent data breaches and privacy issues.
