Who’s teaching the children? Who is guiding them in thought, generosity, patience, caution, consideration? Who tells us, collectively, to love ourselves just the way we are?
In our 21st Century content-saturated, multi-screen lives, we have no focal point like the old TV set. Sure, we still have television, one for every room if we’re lucky, but, if it’s not streaming Netflix, it’s often left forlornly watching us; a giant, shiny black eye waiting for us to lift our gaze from the tiny screens on our laps.
