Video A group of researchers have built a neural network that can control the facial movements in a video to create fake footage.

It’s not quite like deepfakes, when people learnt how to out stick the faces of their favourite actresses and models onto the bodies of adult movie stars. Instead of mapping the faces onto different bodies, it controls the target face and manipulates it into copying the same head movements and facial expressions as the source.
