HMD Global just announced a new Nokia-branded phone bound for China under the X-series moniker. Its most recognizable feature is a notched 5.8-inch FHD+ (2280 x 1080) display with 19:9 aspect ratio with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protective layer. Overall, the front of a Nokia X6 will be 95 percent screen with metal frames that come in blue, black, and silver variants.
The Nokia X6 is powered by a Snapdragon 636 SoC (system-on-chip), 4GB of RAM, and 32 or 64GB of internal storage. A higher-end model exists with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. But don’t worry, all models receive microSD card slots and back-mounted fingerprint sensors. USB-C is the only port on the X6, capable of delivering Quick Charge 3.0, or 50 percent charge in 30 minutes.
