The Information Commissioner is applying for a warrant to search the offices of Cambridge Analytica after the controversial political advertising firm failed to issue a satisfactory response to a demand for access.

Speaking to Channel 4 News on Monday night amid reports Cambridge Analytica may not have deleted data harvested from Facebook, Elizabeth Denham said it was essential her team was given access to the firm’s servers.
