Within the next 24 hours, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg will speak publicly about "rebuilding trust" amid allegations that data from more than 50 million Facebook users was misused by Cambridge Analytica, according to NBC News.

The social networking giant disclosed late Friday that researchers from Cambridge Analytica, a UK-based data firm affiliated with the Donald Trump campaign, had duped the company to gain access to data through an app called "thisisyourdigitallife," which was used for political ads during the 2016 presidential election.
