FCC Commissioner Clyburn’s passionate dissent at last month’s meeting left no room for guesswork on her position on the Commission’s plan to eliminate net neutrality. But it wasn’t all she had to say. Today, released alongside the final text of “Restoring Internet Freedom” order, is an extended statement that goes into further detail and strikes at the new rule’s numerous inadequacies.
The whole statement is a whopping 6,000 words, and well worth reading in its entirety — especially if you missed her delivery of it on the day. Perhaps half its length dedicated to the new, more technical exposition of the rule’s flaws.
