Google has pledged to assign more than 10,000 staff to tackling the rise of violent extremism on YouTube.

Susan Wojcicki, the CEO of the video sharing site, said in an article for the Telegraph that “some bad actors are exploiting our openness to mislead, manipulate, harass or even harm”.
