As we’ve been telling you for months, this year’s all about edge to edge displays. If you’re a manufacturer with a device that has the feature, your device is in the top 1% of smartphones. If not, expect the market to skip over your offering, branding it as medium tier. Changed dynamics for 2017 have created sub-segments within traditional market categorizations. The clearest example of this is the Nokia 8. The device features all the relevant, high-end specifications. But its design, due to lack of an edge to edge display, leaves much to be desired. Now, OnePlus will present its take on minimum bezeled devices. Take a look below to find out more.
Following similar suit as with the OnePlus 3, OnePlus will launch the OnePlus 5T next month, according to rumors. The smartphone will feature the same specifications as its direct predecessor. What this means is that you should expect the Snapdragon 835 power the device, alongside a 16MP rear camera and 6/8GB RAM. However, design wise, the 5T will be a very different device.
