Transport for London will defend in court the decision to strip Uber of its licence to operate in the capital, Sadiq Khan told the London Assembly this morning.

The Mayor of London said he presumed the ride-hailing firm would appeal the ruling and that a court case would “take its course”: “The courts will consider the appeal from Uber and of course TfL will defend the decision they made on 22 September.”
