With phones with higher screen-to-body ratios featuring a smaller footprint than their previous-generation counterparts, the battery capacity also takes a hit. Case in point is the Galaxy Note 8 and despite its 6.3-inch screen, it just sports a 6,300mAh battery. Huawei Mate 10 is aiming for a change however, and the largest Chinese smartphone manufacturer has provided a teaser on the capacity of the cell that will be powering the upcoming flagship.

On Huawei’s official Twitter account, the company has provided information on the battery life of the Mate 10, concluding it to be a 4,000mAh cell. This is larger than the capacities of nearly all flagship smartphones such as the Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+, Galaxy Note 8, and the Pixel 2 XL.
