Comet C/2022 E3 (ZTF) is set to reach perihelion—the point in the orbit of an astronomical object at which it is closest to the sun—on Wednesday. It is now possible to observe it through telescopes in the constellation Corona Borealis, and the comet could soon be visible to the naked eye if current predictions turn out to be true.
