Microsoft has dropped a surprise Windows 10 Insider Preview Build just ahead of the weekend. Windows 10 21H2 Insider Preview Build 21382 brings HDR support to color-managed apps, along with a number of improvements and general fixes. While Microsoft no longer ties builds in the Dev Channel with a specific version of the operating system, these improvements are likely to be introduced with Windows 10 21H2, scheduled for a Fall release with a focus on visual and performance improvements.

The company also reminded that Windows Terminal now comes installed with Windows starting from Build 21337.
