A years-old petition aimed at getting Amazon to accept Dogecoin as a payment method is gaining support on the back of the cryptocurrency's price surge last week.

The petition, called Doge4Amazon, now has more than 130,000 signatures as of Monday out of its stated objective of 150,000.
