While everyone was wondering if there was even going to be a new feature update this spring, Microsoft has surprised everyone by introducing the next feature update to Windows 10, version 21H1. As reported earlier, the company is moving away from releasing a major feature update in H1, making Windows 10 21H1 the first minor feature update released in H1.

"As people continue to rely on Windows more than ever to work, learn and have fun, we understand the importance of providing the best possible update experience to help people and organizations stay protected and productive," John Cable, Vice President, Program Management, Windows Servicing and Delivery, wrote in a blog post.
