Microsoft was scheduled to begin releasing Windows 11 on October 5. Surprising many, the company has started the process as different timezones hit the date around the world. Windows 11 is now officially available for the public, with the rollout beginning for eligible devices today depending on the user's time zone.

Introduced to the world back in June, Windows 11 spent some months in the different channels of the Windows Insider Program. The next generation of Windows with a centered Start menu, Snap Layouts, and Mac-like widgets promises to increase productivity and help us better use the screen's real estate.
