Microsoft has released a new Windows 11 Insider Preview build for Insiders in the Dev Channel ahead of tomorrow's public release. This is quite a surprise since the company doesn't usually drop new builds on Mondays. The Windows development team said that this is the only build being released this week. This early release is happening because the rest of the week will be busy with the Windows 11 launch.

Do note that the Dev Channel is NOT testing the operating system version that is being released tomorrow. Dev Channel Insiders have moved on to test builds from the RS_PRERELEASE branch, which means post-launch updates and features that may be released through future versions of Windows 11. Microsoft noted in the release notes that some features or bug fixes "may make their way into the servicing updates for the released version of Windows 11 after general availability on October 5th."
