Amazon and Google have been competing on various fronts, which also includes a wireless streaming dongle. Google first came up with Chromecast, and that was later challenged by Amazon’s Fire TV. Now, Amazon is again gearing up to launch a new dongle. The e-commerce giant is reportedly working on two new Fire TV variants, and today, they have been leaked in images. Both the new Fire TV models will come with support for 4K HDR video at 60 fps.

One thing that we noticed in the leaked images is that one of the Fire TV models looks a lot like Google’s Chromecast Ultra. The mid-range Fire TV model seems to be a lot like Chromecast Ultra regarding looks and functionality. The only difference is the shape of the body, this one square while Chromecast Ultra is circular. Else, everything else looks similar such as HDMI cable placement. It will get attached to your TV and let you stream content.
