AMD's Ryzen Threadripper 3000 series processors have started showing up on retail stores which means that their launch is indeed close as reported yesterday. The initial lineup, which would get the 24 core Ryzen Threadripper 3960X and the 32 core Ryzen Threadripper 3970X has been listed online along with a placeholder price tag that may be close to the official MSRP.

Well, we already got the update yesterday that AMD has moved the announcement a little bit back from the original date of 5th November. This was further confirmed when AMD canceled their 'Meet The Experts' webinar which was expected to take place a day after the announcement which didn't happen as per schedule. Regardless, the new announcement date is reportedly set for the 7th of November which is tomorrow so we will hopefully get our first official look at the new AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3rd Generation CPUs and the TRX40 series motherboards which would feature the sTRX4 socket to house the next-gen HEDT processor line.
