Approximately three months after the head of Calibra – Facebook’s (NASDAQ:FB) cryptocurrency corporate subsidiary – David Marcus testified before the Senate Banking Committee, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg appeared before the House Financial Services Committee Wednesday morning to answer questions about the tech giant’s cryptocurrency project called Libra.

While the hearing was supposed to concentrate on Facebook’s efforts to launch a new digital currency, about half of the discussion centered on other topics, ranging from the tech titan’s controversial political ads policy to its record on diversity.
