The EU’s most powerful court has ruled that European judges have the right to force Facebook to remove illegal content from its platform in every country around the world.
The ruling, issued by the European Court of Justice (ECJ) on Thursday (3 October), is intended to protect individuals from hateful material which spreads across the site.
