Samsung’s latest flagship is off to a roaring start, at least in the company’s home country of South Korea. According to the figures shared by the chaebol, the Galaxy Note 10 pre-orders have exceeded those of the Galaxy Note 9 family released last year. If the momentum continues, it will further help the Korean giant maintain its lead in the smartphone market.

Samsung began taking Galaxy Note 10 pre-orders on August 9 and now, 11 days later, more than 1.3 million units of the phones have been pre-booked. This is twice the number of Galaxy Note 9 handsets that were pre-ordered. The figures include all the models of the Galaxy Note 10 range. Additionally, The Korea Herald reports that Samsung revealed that the 256GB variant of the Galaxy Note 10 Plus in the color Aura Glow was the most sought after model.
