Microsoft is all over the browser world these days. Since announcing its move to the Chromium engine, the Windows maker has proved itself to be a worthy addition into the open source space by making quite some useful changes to the project. Today, the company is releasing a beta version of its new Chromium Edge browser.

The software maker also shared that to date, it has contributed more than 1,000 commits to the Chromium project is looking forward to continuing its “active engagement with the community in the shared pursuit of making the web better for everyone.”
