However, if a new report from a South Korean publication The Elec is any indication, the 2020 iPad Pro family will get rear 3D sensing cameras in March 2020. Now, the 2020 iPhones are also projected to get the same feature, which means the iPad Pro will apparently get the technology a good six months before the mobile phones get them. The 3D sensing camera feature will supposedly use a time-of-flight sensor (ToF) to create accurate 3D maps.
