The prospect of losing its Android license didn’t slow down Huawei’s OTA updates in the slightest, and the Chinese telecommunications behemoth isn’t showing any signs of slowing down. The company just unveiled it’s Android Q-based EMUI 10 earlier this week along with a list of devices that will receive the update. For now, most Huawei and Honor devices are still on EMUI 9.1 and today, the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro are receiving some new features via an OTA update.

The update comes in the form of build version 9.1.0.193 for the P30 Pro and is rolling out to Chinese users. A global rollout is expected to follow in the coming weeks, as has been the case with most previous updates. The most notable feature of the update is the addition of Night Mode to the secondary camera. Users can now take selfies in poor lighting conditions and get significantly better-looking photos. Although it isn’t as potent as the primary camera’s Night Mode, it still gets the job done.
