We’ve got to know a fair bit about the yet-to-be-released Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 over the past few weeks. Rumours indicate that the smartwatch mimics the latest Apple Watch by offering ECG functionality. Today, Sammobile (the source for all previous leaks) stumbled on yet some more information that confirms the removal of the rotating bezel. There’ll still be an outer ring around the smartwatch where the bezel used to be. The only difference is that it’ll be a touch sensor that works the same way as a mechanical bezel. It is arguably a better design concept; a touch sensor can serve as a much better input method compared to a rotating element.

Today’s leak also confirms the Galaxy Watch Active 2’s the screen sizes. The 44mm Active2 will have a 1.4-inch display while the 40mm variant will feature a 1.2-inch display. Both are 360×360 AMOLED panels with Gorilla DX+ glass. The Bluetooth and LTE models will also have 4GB storage coupled with 768MB and 1.5GB of RAM, respectively.
