Well, it appears that the Radeon RX 5700XT has indeed made its way into reviewers hands and is undergoing testing as you read this. The Radeon RX 5700XT is poised to take on the GeForce RTX 2070 in performance and pricing by undercutting the GeForce RTX 2070 and hitting the market for $449 while claiming to bring a bit more performance than its competitor. Up until now, we’ve only had slides from AMD to go off of for performance figures but now, thanks to the 3DMark Result Ticker and user [redacted username] we now get a glimpse at what should be the Radeon RX 5700XT can do in DX12 with 3DMark Time Spy, and it isn’t bad at all.

Before the newer GPUs launch and are properly added to the database over at Futuremark they show up as Generic VGA and often have very little actual information attached to them, this one, however, came with plenty of juicy details.  One of those details is making it very clear that it is an Advanced Micro Devices Inc. vendor meaning it’s a reference board, which the reviewers would have in hand at this point.  The other is that the core clock falls within the range that it would likely be reporting, the clock reporting is a little off sometimes depending on when it takes the reading since, for example, the RTX 2060 FE reports a 1920MHz clock which is much higher than actual.   The memory capacity of 8GB is accurate but the memory clock reporting is lower than it should be but could likely be chalked up to early detection errors by 3DMark itself.
