Last years Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ are still very capable devices and can still hold their own against flagships released in 2019. While the cameras on the Galaxy S9 and S9+ are undoubtedly good, their low light photography prowess leaves a lot to be desired. Samsung addressed the issue with the Galaxy S10 series, which came with a dedicated Night Mode. The feature is now making its way to older devices starting with the Galaxy S9 & Galaxy S9+ (via Sammobile). We can expect it to make its way to older devices such as the Galaxy S8 and other mid-range devices in subsequent updates.
