Windows 10 version 1903, the May 2019 Update, is finally live for the public. With this update, Microsoft is finally giving the control back to the users promising to put an end to automatic installations. Windows users will now have the ability to explicitly choose if they want to update their device when they click on the “check for updates” button or delay the updates for up to 35 days.

After months of Insider testing of Windows 10 version 1903, Microsoft is now offering version 1903 to everyone. Unlike the October 2018 Update, Microsoft put the latest Windows 10 feature update through a rigorous testing process, including additional weeks in the Release Preview ring. You can head over to Settings > Update & Security, click on Windows Update and select Check for updates to see if the latest version is available for your PC.
