At first glance, the Note 8 seems to have put Samsung firmly on the road to redemption. The phone manufacturer has not had a new model of its premium phone since 2015, after last year's recall of the Note 7 when some of the devices overheated and caught fire. With that said, here are my initial impressions of the phone.
