Stocks flip flop as market's trade-war spin cycle continues

A midmorning rebound on Wall Street faded by Friday afternoon, sending major stock indexes mostly lower and placing the market on track for its second straight weekly loss.
Technology, industrial and energy stocks accounted for much of the slide, outweighing gains in health care, utilities and other sectors. Small company stocks fell more than the rest of the market.
