I bought this iconic Apple Macintosh Classic II computer in 1992, during my first year at university. I still remember the excitement of picking the box up, getting it home, unpacking, powering it up, and hearing the startup chime. At the time, it felt cutting-edge. It had a mouse, icons, and windows that could be stretched, or dragged, around the screen. It was portable — unusual then — in as much as it had a carry handle built in.
