While the global unlocked variants of the devices are one of the first to receive major OTA updates, their US unlocked counterparts are very often the last. The Android Pie update started rolling out to Sprint AT&T and T-Mobile variants of the Galaxy S8/S8+ and Note 8, and today, the carrier-unlocked version is receiving the much-awaited update.

The OTA update weighs around 1.5 GB and includes the March security patch along with the usual Android Pie and OneUI goodies. The firmware versions are G9501U1UEU5DSC1, G950U1OYM5DSC1, and G950U1UEU5DSC1 for the Galaxy S8 and N950U1UEU5DSC1, N950U1OYM5DSC1 and N950U1UEU5DSC1 for the Galaxy Note 8 and the update weighs in at about 1.5GB. It includes all the standard Android Pie features such as App Actions, Slices and Digital Wellbeing along with Samsung’s new OneUI design.
