The government’s data ethics body has sparked a backlash after lending its support to a technology that the World Health Organisation has warned could increase the spread of Covid-19.
In a blogpost published on Monday (15 June), the Centre for Data Ethics and Innovation (CDEI) said controversial immunity passport technology could “prove valuable” in the months ahead, despite widespread concerns about its adoption.
