MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — A man who served time for his involvement in the 1997 killing of a New Hampshire police officer has been accused of escape after failing to show up for a meeting with his parole officer earlier this year.
Kevin Paul, 41, was paroled in September. In February, he said his GPS monitoring bracelet was no longer working. He hadn't been seen at his Manchester residence for several days. An arrest warrant was issued for him Feb. 14. The United States Marshal's Service found him five days later in Copperas Cove, Texas, and arrested him.
