Kentucky legislative staffer tests positive for coronavirus

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) — A staff member for the Kentucky legislature has tested positive for the new coronavirus, according to an email sent to Legislative Research Commission employees.
The Monday announcement by LRC director Jay Hartz came two days before lawmakers are scheduled to reconvene Wednesday to vote on a new two-year state budget.
