After the introduction of the Snapdragon 865 late last year, we can understand completely if people think Qualcomm would announce a slightly powerful version of its flagship silicon in 2020. While the company may not have officially announced it, a tipster states that the Snapdragon 865 Plus launch might happen much earlier this year, if we’re lucky.

As most of you know, Qualcomm announced a slightly more powerful version of the Snapdragon 855, the Snapdragon 855 Plus in 2019. Aside from an increase in CPU and GPU clock speed, there wasn’t anything else separating the Snapdragon 855 Plus from the Snapdragon 855. For 2020, we believe that for the Snapdragon 865 Plus launch, Qualcomm should add a few things so manufacturers take note of its importance.
