HMD Global has announced the Nokia 106, an affordable feature phone destined for the global market. The 106 has a 1.8-inch, 160x120 display that’s a perfect match for the built-in Snake game. HMD says the battery lasts “from sunrise to sunset with one charge,” which is something I’d honestly expect from a feature phone. That all-day battery life — 15.7 hours, to be specific — is for active use; the battery “lasts weeks” on standby. That’s 21.9 days, according to the spec sheet. If you want to use this thing solely as an FM radio, it’ll keep cranking out the tunes, ads, and talk radio for up to 36 hours.
