Brydge, a manufacturer of keyboards that attempt to give tablets the form-factor of a laptop, has announced keyboards for the new iPad Pro. Based on the company’s previous keyboards, these new models should allow the tablet’s screen to be pitched at any angle — while Apple’s Smart Keyboard is limited to just two.
When we previously tried out one of Brydge’s keyboards on a third-generation iPad, we felt like the company succeeded in making the tablet feel more like a laptop. Now, as Apple itself positions the iPad Pro as a productivity device to rival laptops, keyboard covers like those from Brydge seem all the more useful. As well as making keyboards for iPads, Brydge also produces models for Microsoft’s Surface Pro tablets and Google’s Pixel Slate.
