Nerds the world over have delighted in the many cinematic deaths of Sean Bean for decades. He was decapitated in spectacular fashion at the end of the first season of Game of Thrones, dropped to his death by none other than James Bond, and peppered with arrows as Boromir in Lord of the Rings. Gamers will finally get the chance to kill Bean themselves in first Elusive Target mission for Hitman 2, rather ironically titled The Undying, beginning Nov. 20.

Bean says he was struck by the “sophisticated, cool” vibe of the Hitman universe, though is quick to admit he isn’t much of a gamer himself. "I'm not really very good at games!” he said with a laugh. “It's a long time since I've played any. Probably in the ‘90s, with all these, sort of, Desert Storm games. That's how long ago it was.”
