A lot of Google products started as a lightweight. Over time, they keep getting features until the end result is chock full of features people didn’t know they needed, but cannot do without. In the case of Gboard, we have seen GIF creation, floating keyboard, clipboard manager only in the past few weeks. The idea behind such updates is to make Gboard feel personal, and today’s update does that.

Today, we’re introducing emoji style Mini stickers for Gboard, designed for those who may have stared into the eyes of emoji and not seen yourself staring back. These sticker versions of the emoji you use every day are customizable so you can make them look just like you. Have a beard and long gray curly hair? No problem. Nose piercing and baseball cap? We gotcha.
