Everyone, pretty much, agrees that rearranging the chairs on the deck of the Titanic wouldn’t have kept the great ship from sinking. So, why, you might wonder is Teradata blitzing the media with news of their redesigned website, new logo and headquarters move to San Diego? Especially when the data warehouse maker’s technology is already well-loved by customers and its complex query tools are called the “gold standard” by highly regarded industry analysts like Constellation Research’s Doug Henschen.

In other words, Teradata’s ship isn’t sinking and its data management products for analytics are among the most visionary of any vendor in the world, according to the analysts. (See Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Data Management for Analytics on the left.)
