The Samsung Galaxy S9 received a lukewarm response from the market because it did not have a compelling selling point to it. The bigger Galaxy S9 Plus features a dual rear camera system and 6GB of RAM, but the standard Galaxy S9 only had a single rear camera and 4GB of RAM. With mid-rangers offering flagship-level features, it is easy to see why the Galaxy S9+ was a tough sell.

The story doesn’t end here. The Galaxy S9 did not even have a big battery, and Samsung said that the battery capacity would have been further reduced from 3,000mAh to accommodate a dual camera system on the back. And now it seems that the entry-level Galaxy S10 would follow in the footsteps of its predecessor. If rumors are anything to go by, the phone will have a single rear camera and lower internal storage than the other two variants.
