League of Legends patch 8.20 comes out tomorrow, bringing Ezreal into 2018. The patch is pretty short; Riot Games doesn’t want to do any massive balancing changes in the middle of the World Championship. 8.20 is one of the shortest patches in the game’s history, adding mild tweaks to Nami, Sion, Ahri, Jhin and Evelynn. It looks like all the massive changes implemented over the past few patches are enough for League’s designers. (I guess making Urgot and Galio into top-tier powerhouses was enough to satisfy them.)
