The feature was first revealed when information from a lost pre-production batch of the Pixel 3 XL was rampant on the internet. Then last week investigation into the Google app displayed an interesting animation. A smartphone (presumably the Pixel 3) was placed vertically in a stand that doubled as a dock for wireless charging.
