Google Pixel 3 Shows up Unexpectedly on Popular Chinese Retailer JD, Showing a $700+ Price Tag

The Google Pixel 3 has already leaked extensively, leaving nothing to the imagination to the extent that an employee expected to work at the company alleged forgot his Pixel 3 XL in the back of a taxi. As is the case with heavily leaked phones, the Pixel 3 has apparently been listed on the website of a retailer already. Since so much is already known about the phone, we aren’t surprised at the early listing, but it a little puzzling that it has been listed in China.
Google sells its Pixel smartphones in select countries, which does not include China. However, the Pixel 3 has been listed on the Chinese website JD.com, carrying a price tag of $729 (RMB 4,999). Devices that are listed ahead of time usually carry inflated price tags, so the phone’s actual price may not be that high. Since the listing is in Mandarin, it is hard to make out much of it and Google Translate wasn’t particularly helpful for us either.
