British Airways has fallen victim to a sophisticated data breach involving 380,000 transactions and the debit and credit cards used to make them.

The compromised data includes card numbers, expiration dates and CVV security codes, putting thousands of customers at risk of fraud. Some banks began issuing replacement cards overnight.
