DJ Koh, head of Samsung’s mobile division, has finally rebuffed the countless rumours that the Galaxy Note and Galaxy S series will be merged. He said that the company doesn’t have any such plans for the immediate future. This means that the next year’s Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 Plus are going to be greeted by yet another member of Samsung’s flagship family.

Koh has pretty much confirmed that the Galaxy S lineup will be refreshed in the first half of 2019, while the new Galaxy Note devices will be released in the second half of the next year. Koh made these remarks while speaking to journalists at a press conference after the announcement of the Note 9 last week. In the end, these comments managed to extinguish the flames of rumours that continued to prattle the demise of one Galaxy flagship series.
