NEEDLES — In order for the Needles Unified School District to receive funding for specific programs in the 2018-19 school year, they have to apply for certain title programs.

“Annually, the district has to apply to receive categorical funds which are the title programs or federal programs,” said Jim Rolls, NUSD educational programs director.
